One of the 4 basic elemental runes
Air runes are one of four basic elemental runes used in many spells like stun, weaken and teleportation. Air runes are the product of using rune essence on the Air altar using Runecrafting, located west of Varrock city past Gertrude's house Requiring 1 runecrafting level to produce. They can be obtained from pickpocketing wizards, killing magic wielding npc's, brought from a rune store or stolen from a rune stall.

The Air altar in Osrs and Rs3 is located in a different spot than in Minescape being directly south of Falador Castle.
