The Butterfly jar is a tool used in the Hunter skill for storing captured Butterflies. A Butterfly net is required to catch the Butterflies.
Captured Butterflies are used in the Herblore skill to create Super and Extreme Hunter potions. The jar will be consumed upon creating a potion.
