Required Items[]
Knife (Can be purchased from any General Store)- Hatchet (The higher tier the better)
Fletching does not require the use of a crafting table, but does require an anvil when smithing bolts and arrow heads.
All other crafting will be done in the player's inventory.
Level 1-15 - Oak Trees[]
- Arrow shafts 4xp each (Made by using a Knife on an Oak log)
- Headless arrows 4xp each (Made by combining 15x Arrow shafts with 15x Feathers)
- Oak shield 18xp each (Made by combining 2x Oak logs together)
Oaks trees can be found pretty much everywhere, including around Lumbridge
Feathers can be obtained from Chickens either in Lumbridge or from Puffy chickens in the Crafting Guild (Puffy chickens drop far more Feathers)
Level 15-30 - Willow Trees[]
- Willow bow 37xp each (Made by combining 1x String and 1x Willow log) *Recommended
- Willow shield 45xp each (Made by combining 2x Willow logs together)
Willow trees can be found allow the shore next to Draynor Village's bank
Level 30-40 - Teak Trees[]
- Teak bow 52xp each (Made by combining 1x String and 1x Teak log) *Recommended
- Teak shield 63xp each (Made by combining 2x Teak logs together)
Teak trees can be found on Entrana (A boat from Port Sarim is needed to reach the island)
Level 40-60 - Pine Trees[]
- Pine bow 90xp each (Made by combining 1x String and 1x Pine log) *Recommended
- Pine shield 108xp each (Made by combining 2x Pine logs together)
Pine trees can be found along the base of Ice Mountain west of Edgeville Monastery
Level 60-70 - Sequoia Trees[]
- Sequoia bow 120xp each (Made by combining 1x String and 1x Sequoia log) *Recommended
- Sequoia shield 120xp each (Made by combining 2x Sequoia logs together)
Sequoia trees can be found in both Catherby and Seers' Village.
Level 70-80 - Magic Trees[]
Magic trees can be found in Catherby.
Tips[]
It is highly recommended to save large quantities of headless arrows and arrow heads / unfinished bolts and feathers for use during DXP for large xp gains.
