Herblore is a skill that allows players to pick various flowers from the landscape and brew them into many different potions. Potions offer temporary boosts or can restore depleted stats. The herblore skillcape is a cape that the players may purchase and equip after reaching level 99 in the skill and it allows potions to be brewed 50% faster while auto-brewing.

Completion of the Druidic Ritual quest is required to begin herblore.

Training

Herblore experience is obtained by brewing potions and collecting flowers. Different flowers are the main ingredients of most potions. They can be found all over the world. Each picked flower grants herblore experience. Flower picking has the sweet spot mechanic so experience gains can be slightly increased.

Higher herblore level allows flowers to be gathered faster. Shears and the Farming Skillcape can also be used to gather flowers more quickly.

Potions are brewed on a potion stand. In order to brew potions, all the ingredients of a potion must be in the inventory when interacting with the brewing stand. Upon interacting with a stand, a menu opens from which the desired potion can be chosen to be brewed. Each brewed potion grants experience. Potions are brewed automatically for as long as there are enough ingredients in the inventory to make them.

Trivia

• A double teleport is used to gather certain flowers at a high level. Optimally using dueling ring and teletabs for the fastest banking time.
• Leveling farming allows the player to use shears (lvl 30) and later the farming skillcape (lvl 99) for a % pick speed boost each (picking speed boosts stack)
• Each god potion takes a total of 19 flowers and an enormous bone. (4 Noilednad, 4 Blau, 2 Magentina, 2 Wrath, 2 Busi, 1 Alliuminati, 1 Aqua, 1 Rosa, 1 Tangio, 1 Blancus)
