Giant rats are common, low-levelled Mobs . They can often be found in swamps and sewers, and are often killed by low-levelled players training their Combat skills as they are weak. Can be easily found around Lumbridge, Varrock, and Edgeville Dungeon.
They are the first monster a player will defeat in Minescape, as Vannaka will task the player with defeating one on Tutorial Island.
