Oak log

Oak logs are collected from oak trees with use of the woodcutting skill.

There are 4 types of trees oak logs can be chopped starting at level 1 woodcutting.

• Oak trees can be found all around Lumbridge.

Uses

Firemaking

• Oak logs can be used to create a oak fire with the firemaking skill.
• Burning oak logs requires 1 firemaking and gives 9 xp per log when burned.

Fletching

• Oak logs can be used to craft arrows by using a knife. Experience varies with each tier of arrow.
• Oak bow
• Bronze crossbow
• Oak shield

Crafting

• Air staff
• Water staff
• Earth staff
• Fire staff
• Apprentice wand
• Shears
• Hoe

Prayer

• Oak logs can be used to make oak ashes in the incinerator giving a boost to prayer.

Types of Oak Trees

• Small oak trees require level 1 woodcutting to chop and give 9 experience per log.

• Big oak trees require level 15 woodcutting to chop and give 15 experience per log.

• Apple trees require level 20 woodcutting to chop and give 22 experience per log. Unsurprisingly, apple trees also give apples on occasion.

• Dead oak trees require level 25 woodcutting to chop and give 28 experience per per log.
