A player mining Rune essence.
The Rune essence mine is where Rune essence can be mined. Completion of the Rune Mysteries quest is required to access the mine.
The only way to access it is to be teleported there either by Sedridor, in the basement of the Wizard Tower -668 / 64 / 329 south of Draynor, or by Aubury, in the Varrock Rune shop -249 / 64 / -377. To exit the mine you can talk to Aubury to be teleported to the Varrock rune shop.
Rune essence can be mined from the central concentration of grey Rune essence blocks in the same manner as any other ore.
Trivia[]
- The mine itself is located at the northern most section of the snowy plains between the Wilderness and Trollheim at -1279 / 64 / -2048.
- Since Aubury always teleports you to Varrock from inside the Rune essence mine, even if Sedridor teleports you into the mine, this can be a quick way to get to Varrock if no other teleportation options are available.
